About Tahlia Stanton

I am a painter, educator, & creative director living in Dja Dja Wurrung Country, Australia.

My sunlit cottage studio (which was once a milking barn), is a flourishing creative space where I live and work with my fiancé.

Dedicated to celebrating beauty, my mission is to create vibrant works for vivacious hearts; so that we can embrace the joys of life together.

Behind The Work

My inspiration comes from a deep desire to inspire others to explore themselves and find freedom in expressing who they are to the world. I believe that everyone deserves to feel embraced as they are and to experience all the wonders our world has to offer and cherish the wonderful journey that is being alive.

I believe that life is an adventure and there is an abundance of inspiration all around us; and when we invite that wonderous spirit into our hearts, the world becomes a better place. I aim to offer a space for you to see yourself in the subjects I paint; these bold, authentic and bubbly people who are eager to shine bright in the world vibrantly and with enthusiasm.

Our Impact Report

The studio is a proud partner of The Ballarat Wildlife Park, One Tree Planted and Hand In Hand. With over 20,000 trees planted globally, $15,800 raised for youth mental health with The Sebastian Foundation and $30,000 supporting wildlife conservation, your purchase not only invites more colour to your life, but improves the quality of life for others too.

From The Beginning

My art career began with very humble beginnings at the age of 15, painting on the floor of my bedroom and selling pieces within minutes of uploading them to social media (I didn’t know this at the time, but selling directly to collectors was NOT the norm in the art world)! That independence sparked such delight within my heart and is core to my vision as an artist - to bring my work to the world with transparency and honesty and in turn, pioneer a path where fellow artists can thrive, free from the limitations of gallery walls.

Acknowledgement of Country

My studio can be found in the beautiful Dja Dja Wurrung Country. I extend my deep love for the land and great gratitude to its Traditional Custodians, the Dja Dja Wurrung People and pay my respects to elders past, present and emerging.
