A Bespoke Painting Just For You

For the first time since 2021, a limited number of commission spots will open in January 2026

What Does The Process Look Like?

Step one: Share Your Inspiration

Purchase the commission reservation ticket, explore the prompts in the Aligning The Vision tab and collect your inspirations for the brief! The more detail you share about your future heirloom, the better.

Step Two: The Painting Process

Once accepted into the commission calendar and following a concept sketch for your approval, the piece will be created within 4-6 weeks.

Step Three: The Grand Unveiling

Your new custom painting will be unveiled. Before it can depart from the studio to your home, it will need an additional 3-4 weeks to cure before being varnished.

Curing times vary depending on the pigments used and the thickness of impasto brushwork. If additional curing time is needed, you will be updated within our email thread.

Step Four: Delivery Day

Your piece will be packaged up and delivered directly to your door! Pick a few favourites from the print collection to be included as a little extra gift.

The process of transforming your inspiration into a tangible work of art comes with the openness to share that inspiration proudly. These prompts are a gentle guide for what to consider for your painting.

  1. Would you like a portrait, wildlife or abstract themed piece?
  2. What colour palette is speaking to you right now?
  3. What emotion do you want this artwork to welcome into your home?
  4. What do you want your piece to celebrate? A personal milestone? A change in perspective or new life path?
  5. Are there any motifs you would like to be included in the piece? Ie: Honeycomb or florals?
  6. What pieces in my print portfolio speak to you the most?
  7. Do you have any personal reference imagery you would like to share?

All sizes are offered in inches and prices listed in AUD. Please note that these are the prices for 2026 and may be subject to increase after this season of commissions into 2027 and beyond.

Will You Make Prints Of The Piece?

My studio team and I simply adore to see how deeply pieces can impact others, beyond its original intention. For that reason, we will always retain the copyright and reproduction rights of all works created.

The Fine Print

A note from the studio diving deeper into alterations, reproduction/copyrights of the work created and communication expectations.

The original painting will be yours and you retain the right to display the work in a private residence. I, however, retain the copyright to and reproduction rights of the artwork.

The purchase or commissioning of an original painting does not grant you permission to create reproductions. This is inclusive of but not limited to: book covers, posters, printing, etc. Partial nor full rights to artwork will ever be made available to purchase.

A commissioned piece welcomes a degree of closeness and direct communication between artist and client. This can be a truly beautiful collaboration and to keep the process comfortable for both of us there are some boundaries for us to follow.

I only accept a handful of commissions per season to keep your painting of the highest studio priority. If for any reason, the painting is taking longer to complete than expected or there is a delay, I will keep you promptly updated. Work in progress imagery will be not be revealed until the painting is of a showcase quality. The production of a process video for social media is at my sole discretion and cannot be guaranteed as part of the commission service. This service does not include the promotion of personalities nor brands.

In regards to communication, I will not answer personal questions, entertain improper conversation, paint subjects of an inappropriate nature and will not tolerate bullying/harassment of any kind. If I feel that at any time these communication boundaries have been crossed, I reserve the right to cancel the commission.

The original work will be delivered via private courier. Studio pick up and/or personal delivery by me is strictly unavailable.

After the grand unveiling, if you would like an adjustment, you are welcome to one complimentary revision. This can include another glaze of oils to add a touch of depth, shift the hues in a different direction or add a bit more detail.

If more revisions are requested this will incur an additional fee which will be determined on a case by case basis.
