Inspired by the beautiful sunflower fields in Dunnstown, this unique painting features many layers of minty greens, splashed with inks and woven with 24k gold. Experimenting with smearing textures, in this work I was searching for how far I could go creating a more graphic and bold expression of my current series. She is the more edgy sister piece to "Embrace" and was painted by her side. A beautiful step on the journey of self-discovery.
